Before sharing my thoughts on the UHCS and Piedmont Integration Team letter (which means it takes two to tango) I have learned that many may be unaware that when the Atena plan was initially presented that due to follow up efforts of some of us, retirees could choose to remain on the AARP United Healthcare plan as a fully funded plan by UHCS for 30+ year retirees. I chose that option. My decision was based on the differences between Medicare/Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage (the Aetna offering) plans and their potential coverage outcomes or issues if desiring to return to a medigap plan. This is a topic to deep for a FB discussion. It’s unfortunate that no follow-up correspondence came concerning the then two choices.
