Upcoming Announcements, Events and Dates to Remember

Please mark your calendars!

It  has been a year since we last met in-person. The UH Retiree Lawsuit filed against University Health Services, INC. and Piedmont Health Care, INC is progressing. We have 173 retirees out of a possible 250ish possible as part of our lawsuit. We did prevail in having the case moved back from federal court to Richmond County Superior Court. We want to update you and provide an opportunity for questions and more retirees to join the suit who are 65+ with 30+ yrs of continuous service.

We have scheduled a UH Retiree Lawsuit forum for:
Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 2pm
Pine View Baptist Church
119 Pleasant Home Rd, Augusta, GA 30907
(Off Washington Rd. behind the Jim Hudson Lexus Car Dealership)

The purposes of this forum will be:
1. Communicate status of the lawsuit.
2. Answer questions.
3. Give an opportunity for retirees who are now 65 with 30+ years of continuous service to the complete the paperwork and join the lawsuit.

Please join us for an update. If you are aware of other retirees who are now 65 or older and worked 30 or more years of continuous service who have not yet joined the lawsuit and are interested, please share the Forum information and invite them to attend. For questions, email Robin Petry at petrymail@yahoo.com or call 706-836-3027 or go to the Retiree Group website: Home – UH Retiree Benefits Task Force
