Legal Complaint moved to Federal Court

It has been a month since our legal suit was filed, delivered to Piedmont and logged with the Richmond County Superior court for the state of Georgia. Last Thursday we received notice that the case has been moved to Federal Court, Augusta branch, of the Southern District of Georgia as an “ERISA” case under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act as an employee welfare benefit plan. In our last Benefit Forum our lawyer stated at that time this could happen. This makes our case a federal case to be processed in federal court in the Augusta branch. The Task Force will follow with any new information as our case proceeds and final logging in federal court is completed.
