We need assistance from the UHRAA committee members (whom I do not know) for some statistics. Please share with the group how many current retirees there are that are 30 or more years of service and Medicare age and receiving primarily the Medicare supplement from UHCS in any form. Also, how many are UHCS retirement age (reached required 55 or 60 depending on policy at the time) that are pre-medicare age and are able to participate in the employee heath benefits at a cost. Thirdly, how many between 20 – 29 years of service retirees are there that receive a partially subsidized post Medicare supplement benefit. This information is vital to our efforts to retain our retiree benefits. Thank you and information needs to officially come from the UHRAA board.
